Catecholamines in Urine | Automated Sample Preparation with Gilson® Aspec™ XL, Order No. 2200

 

As an alternative to the determination of the urinary catecholamines with manual sample preparation (see ClinRep® complete kit with order no. 2000), RECIPE offers appropriate ClinRep® complete kits for the use with automatic pipetting systems from RECIPE (see order nos. 2400-2500) and Gilson® (see below).

The sample preparation and -injection is performed fully automated by the instrument, merely the pH value of the samples must be adjusted in advance. For this purpose a special stabilizing reagent with colour indicator is available, that allows for a safe and convenient pH adjustment. The definite colouring of the indicator assures the setting of the optimal pH value range (pH 2 – 5), which is mandatory for the analyte stability of the catecholamines (see colour chart, pdf file, 85 kB).
