March 2011: IRIS Technologies is now representing Biotica in North America

Biotica is a small biotechnology Spanish company, which focuses its activity on the investigation, development and further commercialization of a fast detection system of pathogenic microorganisms. Biotica´s main aim has been to investigate the rapid detection of bacteria’s. Firstly to be able to avoid their effects on people health and their environment. Biotica has developped the product Kit Bioalarm legionella, the first world wide patented system that allows an efficient and rapid detection of the amount of Legionella pneumophila in water and the prevention of bacteria reaching dangerous levels for humans.
